Grupo CUIDEA is a non-profit organization founded by a group of dedicated educators and habitat specialists, all of whom have worked for many years in the fields of environmental education and sustainable habitat renovation. Integral to our programming are in-person hands-on learning experiences, through which Grupo CUIDEA equips participants with long-term, practical skills and methods for achieving balance with our surroundings, caring for the flora and fauna around us. Grupo CUIDEA also recruits and supports agricultural enterprises to incorporate field methods that are beneficial to species diversity and ecological wellbeing. By providing guidance and knowledge on integrating these methods that result in fewer harmful and expensive inputs and generate greater profits, Grupo CUIDEA collaborates with members from across the communities we serve to improve local economies and ecosystems.
The mission of the Grupo del Cuidado y Desarrollo del Entorno Ambiental (Grupo CUIDEA) is to provide environmental educational programming while facilitating the creation and restoration of habitats that lead to healthy, sustainable ecosystems and communities. Grupo CUIDEA educational programs teach about the plant and animal inhabitants of our environments and how they cooperate; the value of functioning ecosystems that sustain healthy human communities; and, most importantly, the methods that individuals and groups can use to encourage biodiversity and a sustainable environment.
